Puppies are so darn cute — until they leave presents on your carpet or run the other way when you call them to "Come!" Changing those bad behaviors to good manners is what we do at Puppy Paradise! 

Puppies, cute as they are, need lots more than a bowl of kibble and a pat on the head. So besides lots of love and patience, puppies must be taught how to behave among their humans during this formative time in their life. 

There is so much to learn! First, it's recognizing their name, when and where to potty, when to be quiet, and how to enjoy the big, adventurous world around them in a safe way. No one can accomplish these goals better than an experienced trainer who will focus full-time on training your puppy. 

Puppy Paradise provides the perfect setting for your puppy to learn the skills mentioned here and many more. Paradise is defined as a place or state of bliss, felicity, or delight. That's what your pup experiences here. They are hugged and cuddled by an exceptional staff and friendly visitors just as you would hug and love them. The goal of our systematic, professional training of every puppy we breed is to ensure that he or she feels safe, happy, and cherished while growing up. We want them to be excited to find their own forever humans. And, when you pick up your forever puppy, we want you to feel nothing short of delighted with his progress. 

Our Puppy Paradise Program is designed to develop your puppy's behavioral responses during this crucial developmental stage of life. My program begins three days after the puppies are born. This program achieves remarkable results thanks to the extensive experience and knowledge I've gained training puppies since 2013. As a result, you will have a less stressful and more satisfying start with your new furry family member. 

For the Puppy Paradise Program, the homecoming age of your puppy is ten weeks. Your puppy has begun to mature and receives two additional weeks of our premium training.

Following are the goals Puppy Paradise seeks to attain during this additional two week training period: 

• Name recognition – your puppy will begin to respond when its name is called

• Crate training – your puppy will learn that its crate is a good and comfortable place where it will be able to stay for two hours in the daytime and up to seven hours at night

• Potty training – your puppy will learn bladder control and know where to relieve itself. It can hold its urine for two hours during the day and throughout the night. Our premium potty training program begins at three weeks of age

• Pleasant bath times – your puppy will learn to be calm while being groomed; bath time will be a positive and fun experience, and your puppy will be clean at all times while in our training program

• Socialization – your puppy will be taken out into the community to be introduced to and made comfortable with sounds.

• Commands – your puppy will be introduced to the “come” command and will respond to a simple "No, No!" when exhibiting bad behavior

• Car Rides - your puppy will be introduced to car travel

• Microchipped

• Up to date on age-appropriate core vaccinations

For the Puppy Paradise Silver Program, the homecoming age of your puppy is twelve weeks. Your puppy continues to mature and receives four additional weeks of our premium training.

Following are the goals Puppy Paradise Silver seeks to attain during this additional four week training period: 

• Name recognition – your puppy will respond when its name is called

• Crate training – your puppy will have learned that its crate is a good and comfortable place where it will be able to stay for three hours in the daytime and up to eight hours at night

• Potty training – your puppy will learn bladder control and know where to relieve itself. It can hold its urine for three hours during the day and throughout the night. Our premium potty training program begins at three weeks of age

• Pleasant bath times – your puppy will learn to be calm while being groomed; bath time will be a positive and fun experience. Your puppy will be clean at all times while in our training program

• Socialization – your puppy will frequently be taken out into the community to be introduced to and made comfortable with sounds. Your puppy will begin our weekly visits to a local nursing home for pet therapy

• Leash training - your puppy will be introduced to and become comfortable on a leash

• Commands – your puppy will be introduced to the “come,” “stay,” and “sit” commands and will respond to a simple "No, No!" when exhibiting bad behavior

• Car Rides - your puppy will continue to be exposed to car travel

• Microchipped

• Up to date on age-appropriate core vaccinations

For the Puppy Paradise Gold Program, the homecoming age of your puppy is fourteen weeks. Your puppy continues to mature and receives six additional weeks of our premium training.

Following are the goals Puppy Paradise Gold seeks to attain during this additional six week training period: 

• Name recognition – your puppy will respond when its name is called

• Crate training – your puppy has learned that its crate is a good and comfortable place. Your puppy will be able to stay for four hours in the daytime and all night in a clean and dry crate

• Potty training – your puppy is fully potty trained

• Pleasant bath times – your puppy will be calm while being groomed, and bath time will be a positive and fun experience. Your puppy will be clean at all times while in our training program

• Socialization – your puppy will frequently be taken out into the community to be introduced to and made comfortable with sounds. Your puppy will continue participating in our weekly visits to a local nursing home for pet therapy

• Leash training - your puppy will be comfortable on a leash

• Commands – your puppy will continue to practice the “come,” “stay,” “wait,” and “sit” commands and will respond to a simple "No, No!" when exhibiting bad behavior

• Car Rides - your puppy will continue to be exposed to car travel

• Microchipped

• Up to date on age-appropriate core vaccinations

  are accomplished without using treats.

  We have found that puppy obedience is learned most successfully through gentleness, patience, and praise. We also know that while a puppy is growing rapidly and its brain is developing quickly, it needs lots of rest. So your puppy's time will be spent playing, training, eating, eliminating, being loved, and getting appropriate time for rest. 

All of this happens in the loveliest surroundings; there are no concrete kennel runs. Puppy Paradise is an open-air kindergarten. It is a beautiful, clean facility indoors and out. We provide multiple shady play yards with artificial turf. Puppies have an abundance of safe playtime chew toys, and my staff of ardent dog lovers is well-trained and responsible. 

Our commitment to your puppy's training is paramount! When you pick them up, I pass the torch on to you. When you depart with your graduate doodle, you will receive information with easy-to-follow tips to help you continue to succeed with your "fur-ever" friend. We'll also send along a snuggle toy for your new family member, essential chew toys for a puppy this age, and some premium puppy food to give him or her a good start in their forever home. We feed our pups the best food available to us and know you'll do the same.
